If you have a new blog, Google AdSense approval can come quicker than you thought. Mine was approved 2 weeks after I registered the domain and the tricks I used worked perfect for me.Below I will explain step by step on what to do so that your new blog can get approved.

For individuals who are not familiar with blogging and the issue of AdSense, AdSense is a child of Google and it’s one of the many ways bloggers make money online. Most of the adverts you see on blogs come from AdSense. Nearly every blog uses AdSense. To join the platform, here is what to do.

  1. Obtain high level domain name

If you are using WordPress and BlogSpot, it’s advisable to avoid applying for AdSense if you are using a free domain name. Before you apply for AdSense, make sure you purchase a domain name….Google does not approve websites with free domain names. A free domain name looks like this(www.venasnews.wordpress.co.ke and a high domain name looks like this,www.venasnews.co.ke).You will notice that the second name does not contain ‘Wordpress’

You can register a new domain name by clicking on this link

There is a secret many bloggers have not heard of: Google approves domains ending with .com faster than those containing other domain names. So, if you are to register a domain name, register one ending with.com

  1. Publish at least 40 high quality articles before you apply

By the way,my AdSense account was approved in 2015.Before I applied for it, I had read several articles to understand the requirements for the approval process to go through. One thing I learnt was that I needed at least 40 high quality articles before requesting for Adsense account approval. I embarked on creating content, did 5 posts per day and made sure each post did not have grammatical mistakes.

On reaching 40 posts, I applied the following day. My account was approved 24 hours later and after I inserted the code in my blog, AdSense sent me an email about a week later congratulating me.

  1. Each article must have at least 500 words

When you write any article make sure it contain above 500 words. Google ads works well with text and the longer your articles are the better. If your articles are less than 500 words long, chances of getting approval are minimal.

Another important point: make sure 5 of your articles have 2,000 words,10 have 1,000 words and the rest have at least 500 words. If you do this, there is no way your blog can be rejected.

  1. Avoid adult content

Google hates adult content. If by any chance your blog has a single post with adult content, including suggestive images, forget about AdSense approval.

  1. Use your own images

One thing I did when I started my blog is that I made sure all my images on every post were mine. I went around town taking photos of anything I saw and used those images alongside my content.

What Google hates most are blogs that use copyrighted images or images lifted from Google database.

  1. Avoid some niches

Google does not approve content from some niches. The company believes the niches are saturated, meaning even if they approve your blog, there is nothing new and unique you will bring online. The niches to avoid include: Entertainment, make money online, SEO, Politics, news and fashion.

I have actually advised more than 1,000 bloggers and I always suggest they concentrate on agriculture, environment and career tips, business advice and testimonies. If you write unique content targeting these niches, you will be surprised how fast your blog will be approved.

When I applied for AdSense, my blog had 40 unique articles about farming and agriculture, it was approved instantly.

  1. Clean Website template

Since any blog is reviewed manually by AdSense team, you should aim to have a clean website design. Google wants to approve publishers who have shown seriousness. If you purchase a template, your chances of getting approved are higher than those who have free template. You can purchase a template from WPion by clicking here

Remember, AdSense will earn you money for the rest of your life, don’t fear to spend when you desperately need approval into the program.

  1. Unique content

There is nothing as bad as plagiarizing content. Google hates to see websites that don’t bear unique content.

Before you apply for AdSense, make sure the entire content in your website is original and unique such that if you search for the titles of your blog posts, you won’t see any other site with the same titles.

  1. Second approval

Adsense has two approval stages. The first stage is fairly easy…almosts every blog is approved, the second stage is the hardest. After placing the AdSense code on your blog, you will receive a message days later informing you whether your blog has been approved or not.In case your blog is rejected, deal with all the recommendations and wait for more than a week before you re apply. In case you re apply and your blog is rejected again, you should continue creating content for a tleast one month before you re-appy.This time,if it’s rejected, give up and move to another monetization platform.I will suggest you apply for HilltopAds through this link

Alternatively, create another blog and follow my advise above.Approval for AdSense through this other blog should be with a different email address and new domain name.Remember AdSense is not the only way to make money, you can join MGID,Content Ad,HilltopAds,Taboola,Outbrain or RevContent. If you wish to join MGID,send us an email address together with your domain name and url,you will get approved within 2 days. Our email address is [email protected]
