Citizen TV’s Kanze Dena has been appointed the Deputy Spokesperson at State House ,a position that forces Dennis Itumbi to report to her. But there is little most Kenyans understand about this wonderful lady.
Kanze Dena was once a house girl. The beautiful journalist was employed as a house girl immediately she completed high school.Thereafter,she got a job at a small hotel in Nairobi as a waitress.
While working as a waitress she became pregnant and later gave birth to a baby girl. But her boyfriend took to the heels immediately he learnt that Kanze was pregnant.
Kanze explains that the worst almost happened after she delivered. She had left her child,Natasha,in Mombasa with her grandmother when she received information that she is needed urgently. Upon arrival in Mombasa, she discovered that the child had died. The shock resulted to depression and an attempt to commit suicide.It’s God who intervened,Kanze could have died.
Before fame and money,Kanze alichonga viazi kwa hotel,she dropped out of school, was rejected by her boyfriend,she became a housegirl.But despite all these, she triumphed.
Today, information spread like bush fire that she will become the new Deputy Spokesperson at State House. It’s magic,unbelievable and a story that explains the meaning of resilience.
Kanze will earn upwards of Ksh800,000 each month plus allowances and other benefits.
