Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s home was raided Sunday night by armed thugs.
The thugs entered Raila’s Bondo home after breaking the fence. Their mission took less than thirty minutes where they stole livestock; geese, sheep and goats—they also drank milk which was in a sufuria.
During the time of the raid,Raila was not in Bondo.It’s believed the thugs waited until the security guards had slept when they entered the compound. Until now, the police have not arrested any of the thugs.However,the government believes some workers might have colluded with the thugs to steal from Raila.
Raila’s Bondo house is guarded by officers from the Recce Squad.It’s not clear how thieves managed to break into the compound.
