There was drama in Kenya on Thursday night when a Kenyan woman decided to wed a photo of her boyfriend who has overstayed abroad.
On Wednesday morning, she called on her friends to inform them on the planned wedding. Her girls congratulated her in advance and told her to go on. She went ahead and called a lady pastor to bless the union.
Njoki gathered her friends in her rented house in Nairobi where they placed the photo of her boyfriend who has lived in USA for ten years. She decided to wed the photo which she even placed a ring on it with a caption, “this is my husband of 12 years, may God bless our union”.
Njoki argues that her boyfriend Moha has stayed in USA for 10 years.She has been pressuring him to come and marry her but the man has never been interested. Last month she informed him of the intention to marry his photos and Moha accepted. It was after the agreement Njoki sent him the wedding photos.
