Information reaching us indicates that Deputy President William Ruto may Quit Jubilee Party before March 2020.A close ally of the DP reveals that the Ruto’s self-esteem is heavily damaged and the only way to redeem it is by leaving the ruling party.

The turning point for Ruto will be when campaigns for BBI will officially kick off, which is in March 2020. The DP will automatically oppose the document, hence assume the opposition leader position. On the other handrails Odinga, Interior CS Fred Matiangi and Kirinyaga Governor will lead the ‘yes’ group. Ruto will form a party which he will use to campaign in 2022.

It’s believed that DP’s woes started when President Uhuru Kenyatta shook hands with opposition leader Raila Odinga.Ruto wasn’t for the handshake. The situation worsened during the launch of BBI at Bomas.Ruto was openly sidelined as Raila and Uhuru enjoyed the moment.

Ruto’s one leg is out of the government but the only thing that’s keeping him is the security he is being provided and the several privileges he is accorded as the Deputy President. Even so, it will be a miracle for him to continue holding on even beyond March 2020.
