Safaricom Introduces Data Bundles Without Expiry Date

594

Safaricom has introduced data bundles without an expiry date where you key in the amount of money you want to spend and they give you MBs free of expiry dates.

For instance, if you enter Ksh 100, you’ll get 500 MBs which do not bear expiry dates. This simply means that Safaricom has removed the expiry date barrier thus allowing Kenyans to spend their data as they wish. But the downside of this is that the company may be forced to increase the cost of purchasing data bundles.

Yesterday a City Lawyer sued Safaricom, Airtel and Telkom over the issue of data bundles. It seems his case might succeed.

In other news, Safaricom has developed a system error where people are getting as many bundles as possible for free. Someone got 50,000,0000 data bundles for free this morning.
