The number of people per tribe in Kenya has been analyzed based on the 2019 Census report that was released by the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics. There are a total of 45 tribes in the country with the most populous tribe being the Kikuyu. There are at least 12.5 million Kikuyus in the country.

The Kenyan population is not static, the number today won’t be the same number tomorrow, it must grow, but the fact is,the number of deaths is lower than births.

The biggest tribes in Kenya are the Kikuyu,Kalenjin,Luhya,Luo,Kamba and Kisii,they constitute 70% of the total population in Kenya.The Bantus are more than 50% of the entire population in Kenya with Kikuyu contributing 21% of the entire population.
